Running DOSBox Buddy takes some work. (1) Apple doesn't want to open it. Try anyway. After you try, go to System Settings / Privacy & Security / Security [near the bottom of the giant list], and (a) Make sure you have it set to "Allow Store & Known Developers, and (b) You should see a box telling you it couldn't open DOSBox Buddy do you want to open it anyway... YES. But note that this choice is up to you and Apple warned you not to, etc. (2) Now open DOSBox Buddy again. It pops up a little box that says it can't find DOSBox-X, blahblah. Hit "Download" and you'll be taken to the github page for the most recent version of DOSBox-X. Under "Assets" click on the version you want and download. Put DOSBox-X into the Applications folder. It's UNIX and freaks out if its not in Applications. - - You'll likely figure out the rest. Play fun time...

NOTE: Donationware, providing only a DEMO at download. It allows creation and management of up to 5 games. Unlocking the FULL version requires at least contacting the dev for a free serial number. "...But if you feel the app is worth it, your support is greatly appreciated and helps keep the project alive and improving."
